I agree Carrie. Bad news sells better than good news. It's the dominant tenent behind the logic of fear-mongering. And the media is definitely in the business of mongering fear.

Be sure to catch Bill O'Rielly this week. He interviews Bush and the word is, he doesn't throw him softballs or give him passes. He grills him on imigration, WMDs, "Mission Accomplished" etc... I don't know, guess we'll find out!
