Birthday
January 24, 2005
Ellie,
Today you are two years old. For the past two years you have added a whole dimension to my and your mother's life that has increased our happiness in more ways than we ever imagined. We love you so much and we are grateful for every moment that you are with us.
Tonight we will have a small party for you with just your Nana and Viejo and Mommy and me. These are the people in this world who love you more than anyone else. Someday when you have your own children you will understand the awesome magnitude of love that we feel for you.
On Saturday all of your friends are coming for your party. You've been talking about it all week, refering to it as your "potty". You even discovered the party supplies Mommy bought because you have the uncanny ability to sense anything within a mile radius that has a picture of Dora the Explorer on it. And you have even been putting on your party hat from last year. You're almost as excited as we are.
So, Happy Birthday Ellie-Bean. I love you.

About This Page
This is my weblog - a place for me to write about whatever interests me. The topic is a wildcard, but is likely to be about UI Design, Usability, Web Standards, Photography, Music, Politics, etc. Every once in a while even a little politics. Expect anything.

I love you and Ellie very much!
My! What big ears you have!
Chris, i'm diggin' the new design. it does get a little funky when viewing comments, though. i'm looking at it with firefox (on linux, tho i doubt that has anything to do with it.
it goes without saying that Ellie's a doll, but i'll say it anyway.
You caught me in between rebuilds, Ned. I hadn't applied the new style to the individual archives, yet.
But, thank you for both compliments.
very slick, clean. makes me feel even worse for not doing anything to clean up my page for so long. rollover tabs are sweet. i'm not going to even view source cause i know they're css. ;)
i'm diggin the colophon addition too. that's something i've meant to add to tanque in a meaningful fashion for a long time. my only comment/request on for that element is that i look to those things for info on tools/methods used to create the site. do you use dreamweaver at home? do you have a fav image editor? it doesn't make a big difference, but i am curious to read what folks use to put their stuff together.
oops, gotta jet; my SIMbeer is telling me i need to open another pbr.
fyi, "main" link in upper left corner under "weblog" doesn't work. oh, and "weblog" points to domain root, not your weblog.
